Sunderland Illuminations

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Last Sunday (25th September), me and my family all went to Rocker Park in Sunderland to see the illuminations. The theme of this years illuminations was "pirates and dinosaurs" but to be honest I only saw two or three dinosaur sculptures/lights. From my past experiences of going to the park is that the best time to view the lights is to go on a night time when it starts to get dark, as two years ago we went at around 6:00pm and when we left we agreed that it is better to go later on in the evening to see the lights at their best. From the images below you can clearly see the difference between the lights as you can barely see them in the image on the left, however the image on the right shows how amazing the lights can look at a certain time.

Firstly, as soon as we entered the park we went on a hunt for food and settled on some chips. We then bought some sweets and popcorn from a really pretty little hut in the centre of the park.

We then walked back towards the entrance to look properly at the lights (as we were desperate for food hehe) as by the time we bought our food it was dark enough to appreciate them. As I have two younger siblings, the lights definitely fitted their age category and to be honest even me,my mam and dad enjoyed the displays too so they were very family friendly.

We also took a lovely stroll around the lake and sat, talked and took a few photos. The lake was beautiful with the different colours of water shooting up and the snowflakes/stars glittering too, there was also some very calming songs playing.

There was a little walk way which was fairy themed and on either side of the path there was little fairy figures and lights hanging and fairy pumpkin houses, not going to lie this was probably my favourite part of the night because it made me feel like I was in a fairy tale land.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and can't wait to see what themes there are next year and many more years to come. Hope you've enjoyed this blog and i'll write again soon. As always links are down below x

Christmas Wishlist

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to share with you some of the things I'd like for Christmas.

Firstly, ever since Summer time I have wanted this highlighter from Bobbi Brown. It is a gorgeous brown/gold colour and is very pigmented. As you can see from the image below this product is £34 which I think is not too bad for a Bobbi Brown product but I'm sure you could find a cheaper version of this product in most drug stores.

Next, I would love some 'toothbrush' make up brushes which are rose gold as one of my friends had them in her make up bag and the bristles were so soft and it seemed like they were good quality. The image below is from ebay as I'm not quite sure yet where to get the brushes from and I thought that by getting them from ebay they are cheaper and won't be as big of a hassle if they don't turn out as i wanted them to be. The image below shows that this product is £13.89 which I think is a reasonable price.

I would also love anything from the Zoella Christmas range that just recently went on sale. Zoella (know as Zoe Sugg) is a youtuber and her past products have been amazing so I hope this new range is just as good. An example of what I would love from the Zoella range is this fragrance set. It includes a "Bake my day" perfume which has a ginger bread scent and a hand cream which also has the same scent as ginger bread is the theme of all the products in this specific range. From the image below you can see this set is £10 which I think is very acceptable for the amount of products included.

I obviously love everything from the Tanya Burr Christmas range. An example of what I'd like is this nail polish and file set, although, I would rather get this before Christmas as throughout December I would love to wear this. I also adore the name of this product as it makes me feel so festive.  I also think the price is very affordable and this is a great example of a stocking present for a friend or family member.
Last but not least, no one at Christmas can go without anything or everything from the Lush Christmas range! This is my favourite time of the year for Lush products except for Halloween as I love all the scents and I can just imagine myself on Christmas eve in bath full of some of their products. Their Christmas range in Gateshead comes out on Saturday 1st October (next Saturday) and I will most definitely be buying all of the Lush shop hehe. An example of what I'm looking forward to buying is "The Magic Of Christmas" bubble wand. This might possibly be one of my favourite products in the range because it smells of all the classic Christmas scents, such as cinnamon and you can get plenty of beautiful baths out of this wand.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog and maybe even added some of these items onto your own Christmas list. Also look out for new blogs coming very soon this week and if you ever want to get in touch with me my links are below and so are the links for all of these beautiful products!
